I wouldn't. I have a slight impression from the corner of the stock console in my right shin. I would think that would make it worse?

So if you're interested, check your shin location before buying.

 

I figure, there "may" be the need for a short stirp of Dbl Face tape, to help keep it in place.
It could work out to be a nice place for my carry pistol, while driving.
Which, I would rather modify the additional space, than the console area itself.

 

My leg doesn't lean to the right, so I'm good

Was going to say the same thing. After any amount of time in my truck, my right knee was always sore from rubbing on the center console.

 

I agree with this.

I have center console molle panels and can't put too much on the driver side due to knee / leg interference. Most of my stuff is on the passenger side, doesn't bug my lady at all.

There are other ~ better options for pistol mounting in that location

 

I was hoping the same.
I wanted one for both sides, and tried contacting the vendor.
The link takes you to some gamer related area.

 

By attaching with screws, yes? No thanks.
Double face tape? Possibly for a magnet mount.
There are other ways to attach things, but I'd rather not add fasteners that de-face.

 

It is funny that the right footwell in my wife's Forester is oddly cramped. There seems to be no comfortable spot there.

The Taco is much more comfortable, but I had a good laugh when I found the impression on my shin.

 

What would u even put in there ...note pad that would just rub your leg the whole time make more sense having it on the passenger side .

 

Potentially, a right handed holster, or a Kydex sleeve of some sort.
I may send it to K-Rounds, or another "source" for their thoughts.

 

I found a way to contact the seller, and put in a request for the same design, for the right side.
I'll post more info after the seller responds.

I just ordered one. I see this as a great place to put a phone or wallet. It might take a little creativity but could probably even mount some switches inside there.
