Anybody want to go steelhead fishing next wednesday or Thursday

Does anybody wanna go steelhead fishing in the Manistee River next Wednesday or Thursday it’s supposed to be 40°

I plan wading around the damn and lower.

 

Thanks I live in northern Michigan the Manistee River where I’m talking about is in the middle of the state on the West side

 

Been thinking about hitting the river with my newest project, myself.

It's gonna be the Big Manistee or the PM.

 

Let’s do it I fly fish but I’ve got regular gear as well. Gonna be warm ish next week

 

Gotta watch the melt off this weekend. The water level can increase pretty quick after 2 days of snow melt. That current can be a bitch! As you know, once you start sliding into a hole, you are gonna get wet!

I much prefer fly casting out of a boat. I'm kinda lazy.

There are some nice, safe reds down stream to wade on, but it's easy to get into a hole. Be safe.
