    BFG KO2 - 265/70/R17 - They DO rub...Had to remove the front air dam, mud guard, whatever you want to call it. After that. All good.

    Plasti-dipped the emblems gunmetal and full front grill and emblem in flat black. Debating on doing the lower trim under the license plate flat black as well. Let me know what you guys think!

    Looks good! I painted my lower bumper valance with satin black Krylon Fusion. It looks so much better now, but it's a PITA to remove it. The only reason why I removed it is because of the light bar behind it, otherwise I would've taped everything off and just painted it on the truck.

    Just got my new wheels shipped in. Enkei RPT1 16x8 0 offset in titanium gold. Pairing with my mgm tacoma. Can’t put on for another month but just excited to get them shipped in.

    To clarify, it prevents your diff acting like a vacuum and pulling in water through the clamshell when you're in high water for any amount of time other than "just passing through a deep puddle for a second"

    Part of the mod is also replacing the breather from a one way to a two way. The one way breather means that it would push out hot air from the diff while the water is cooling the clam shell, creating an environment in which water intrusion is HIGHLY LIKELY because it's under negative pressure. The two way breather means it actually has a chance to expel hot air while letting in cool air to adjust the environment without vacuum. That's also why you're adding the long hose, because you go from something that shouldn't allow water to enter to something that definitely would allow it, if you didn't have it sealed and rerouted.
