Anyone have black rear bumper caps on their Inferno? Show me some pics :D

My chrome ones are wrecked (previous owner backed into something it looks like) I ordered black ones, just haven't installed yet.

Here's an up close photo of the passenger side, I don't have a full rear end photo. I plasti-dipped with them still on the truck. Attach28033_20201105_184736.jpg

Thank you! I think I'm going to like it.

If you don't know about it already, "Solution Finish" could make your bumper just as black as the plasti-dip. It's a restorer that has to be applied every 6mo-year but it's absolutely amazing on black plastics.

Obviously not the best before & after, but you can see how much shine it restored on my 1st gen bumper.

EDIT: Re-read and realized that's not what you meant.. I'll have to look into that stuff. Seems like it would be useful on the fender flares as well!

That does looks awesome! I just like to use plasti-dip because I'm bad at spray paint and it's VERY forgiving. Usually takes me 2-3 tries of peeling it off and restarting before it turns out decent.

I've used it on fenders as well. Works great! It's almost like a stain in a sense. The product itself is black, so if you do it on plastic near paint just be careful. There's youtube videos of it being used.

I've used 9ne of these. It's helps with getting a better application of the paint.

I was walking out of Lowe's this afternoon, when I looked towards the next county were I parked my truck, I noticed another Tacoma right in front of mine in a nice shade of red, then, as I got closer I realized that red truck was orange and it was mine! Never ceases to amaze me all the colors that Inferno can change, like a chameleon! The only color I can't stand is, the weird yellow tan it changes to under the old sodium underground parking lights.

Yes, I think inferno is one of the few colors that can change so much depending on the lighting.

Though I will say, for a bright ass orange truck, people sure dont see it and either try to merge into me or turn infront of me.

I thought I was the only one, it's like I am invisible on some days! Then again, they don't hear or see a giant red aerial fire truck!

Its crazy, I would think a 20 foot long blaze fucking orange truck with LED lights all over it would be so easy to see.

I find it tends to blend into the background when a person as a phone or food in their hand.
