Nebraska where you at???

I am not in the Tacomaha facebook group, I was not aware of that group. All I had found so far was a 3rd gen group and a M/T group. I'll look it up.
I've seen a few tastefully modded Tacos around town now that I have one and have been looking out for them more. I might have seen that MGM a couple weeks ago on my way to work. I remember thinking it was like my truck's "big brother" since mine is still stock but the same color.

It would be nice if we had at least something around to give the truck a little workout. I was very impressed with it when I took it to Colorado.

This is a little late, but worth considering if you need any work done on any vehicle. I found a great local mechanic, who also does alignments, in Acutek Auto Repair off of S 8th Street. The owner/operators name is Vern. He's usually a one-man show, so be patient, but he does great work. He treats everyone right and doesn't overcharge. Back when I had my turbo Outback he mistakenly quoted me for a standard outback instead of the XT package. Even after the install, and realizing the job took much longer than anticipated, he stuck by his quote.

 

Good to know. Now I just need to remember that recommendation when the time comes...

Well my 13 is done for. This happened last Friday with the little bit of snow we had. RIP...

 

Whoa! I hope everyone was ok. We have been getting dumped on here. Personally I'm over the cold and snow this year.

 

Yep all fine and dandy other than my poor Taco. He hit me and snapped the axle. Looks gruesome, other than standing on the side of the road for an hour freezing we were both unharmed.

 

That sucks.

 

Went and bought this to replace it with.

 

Went to Chicago to get a manual as I never liked the autos.

 

The manual was the right choice in the 3rd gen. Well worth the drive.

 

Looks great! Baxter actually had two manual tacos on the lot when my previous car broke down last summer, but I would have traveled for the MT as well if necessary.

I work downtown by the Star Tran bus station. I travel Hwy 2 alot. Right back at ya, your truck is awesome and I love that dog!

So in talking a bit to @Shellshock he is a bit closer and cheaper. If we can get 6 people confirmed he will make the trip to us. Otherwise I am making the trip to him.
