    I've been looking for a rack solution like this for a 3rd gen DCSB with the Lomax tonneau. Positioned properly you'd have full usability of the cover with just 18" of clearance under the rack. I'm pretty sure there'd be a decent crowd here interested in a rack that goes over that cover. My current plan is building something out of extruded aluminum, but this looks great (and not having to build would be a plus). If you'd be interested I'd be happy to help with it.

    That'd be something for the future! I certainly could design it. I believe the challenge with that is the rack uprights would have to be vertical to clear the folding action of the tonneau, which is okay but doesn't always look the best IMO.

    They may not have to be perfectly vertical. The uprights would need to sit at the outside of the bed rail, but the Lomax sits pretty far in when closed. Also if you put the uprights in the right spot, you might be able to clear them due to the swing of the panels. There are spots where 14-16" of clearance would be enough. Certainly would take some playing, but if you go through the Lomax channels there's desire for a rack that works with this cover and nobody seems to have one.

    @Nimble9 would the SideRide work with the @Mobtown Offroad full height bed rack? I would like to use something other than the tow hitch rack I have now. The added length and not being able to easily open the tailgate is a problem.

    most caps could work if the cap was cut, but other than that it would most likely not work as the mounts and the cap take up the same space
