    What trails are around the Beaumont-Banning area? Any easy to intermediate trails? Preferably an East to Westerly direction.

    Haha, Close to it. I have been doing my own thing away from any social media platforms. I have experienced a lot of loss in my family over the last 3 years so I just took some time to gather myself. But I figured, this is a new year, and I need to enter it with a positive mind set.

    I took on a new project that has been taking all of my attention and time. My late fathers Gx470.

    I miss you all and hope to start wheeling very soon!

    Happy New Year brother!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::drunk:

    Trust me brother, I feel your pain!!! I was extremely close to my mom and when she passed away Dec 2019, I took it extremely hard... my sister can vouch for that.

    Anyways, hang in there brother and hope we can go wheeling soon again.

    Yeah, loosing a close family member is very difficult and hard to deal with. I unfortunately have lost 5 close family members in the last couple years. It been non stop and overwhelming.

    But like I said, I want to try and be as positive as possible, and being on this forum chatting with you fine people always made me happy.

    I’d be down. When and where (what trail) did you have in mind? Also, sorry for your losses, man. We lost an uncle, cousin, step-grandma and several friends during the past couple of years also. I hope your grieving is supported with loved ones.

    Not sure if you guys ever bring in shop owners, but I saw Jason of Demello Offroad saying in Facebook last year/month that he wanted to organize a snow wheeling day, too. Not sure if he’s already done that or if he’ll be up for more if he already did do some snow wheeling. He’s got a Taco, also.

    Came back from hanging out with family up in Big Bear for the New Year holiday weekend. Didn’t do much wheeling, just a little bit in the mud about 1/2 a mile up 3N14 from Fawnskin on the 31st. It was our mom’s first time joining us for some off-road driving. Got her first ever dirt skid marks on the backs of the pant legs.:rofl::mudding:
    We didn’t go too far because we were the only vehicle in a 4x4 and we were mainly trying to find some nearby snow banks so our nieces can do some snow play & sledding. Since we didn’t see much near the beginning of the trail, we decided to turn around and regroup with our family. Most areas in the campgrounds north side of the lake didn’t have much snow prior to January first. After the snow dump on New Year’s Day, we had more places to do snow play/sledding at the Serrano Campground area.
    With all the rainstorms going on in L.A., I figure that there’re tons more snow on the trails at Big Bear this week.

    It was a nice surprise on New Year’s Day to see it snowing outside in the morning.

    I can't this week or weekend but I'm down to lead a run after the next big snow dump. I was up there for new years and it rained/snowed a fair amount but not much stuck. Went on the trails and it was maybe a couple of inches. Super crowded too with lots of off roaders.
