Well, all it says is “will allow you to control the accessory of your choice”. Doesn’t really explain much. Granted, I’m not too terribly knowledgeable in wiring switches and accessories anyways.

also, here’s a screenshot of the wiring the guy in the video mentions. Not sure how reliable it is but it’s a starting point.

Got my knob in today (faster shipping than Amazon!)!

I don’t plan on using it for ECT as I rarely ever use that. I plan on wiring one to my anytime front camera but no idea about the other. I read through some posts on here and saw some ideas (light bars, radar mute, etc)...none really apply to me.

Anyone else got any good idea for the second switch? Open to all suggestions!

Thanks @MESO for the excellent workmanship on all of your products!

I also got mine in today. Haven’t figured out on what I want to do with the buttons. Figure I’ll do the front camera as well. Never thought about using it to mute a radar detector. Anybody have any insight on how to do that? My radar detector is an Escort 360 Max.

Sadly just learned about these this week and read the whole thread from page 1 on (...patting self on back). Sadly that means I missed the knobs before they were gone.

In for the next batch if I can snag one then! I realize this batch just recently launched, so Meso I'm curious if you might have a general hunch on timeline (i.e. weeks...months).

    Looks awesome!

DIY kits might be coming soon before full knobs come out again. Maybe, maybe not. Sign up for notifications for both.

Is it worth upgrading from the previous model? This will be my 4th stealth knob... Don't want to miss out on new goodness.

I'm signed up for notifications on both the knob and the DIY kits (all colors), but I didn't get an email that these were available this time around. :(

If anyone who just received one of these changes their mind and decides not to install, would you please consider selling to me? I'll pay a premium. I'm in desperate need of the additional switches, and have been very patiently waiting for these.

That’s what I’m waiting to find out too. What’s the design change in the button? I kniw it said something about new board/switch or something along those lines. Also curious if the buttons will connect to the last versions harness (or were there changes to the harness also). @MESO

I’ll have some Red stealth knobs(complete) ready this weekend. After that maybe I’ll make some DIY kits.

Question for you. I purchased your stealth shift knob (latest release) and am planning on installing a members TRD illuminated plate onto it. From what he said, I need to remove the existing plate and then drill a small hole behind it for the led; and then drill a hole down to meet that hole (for the wiring). (Let me know if you don’t recommend installing that on your knob for some reason).

    Two questions:
    1. Are the ready made shift knobs wired the same way as you show the DIY being installed? Wanting to make sure your wiring won’t interfere with the drilling I described.
    2. What’s the easiest way to get the TRD clip off? Do I have to use the pic tools and remove the cover like you show in your video? Or can the TRD clip come off with the entire knob still intact?

The TRD illumination plate was made for these OEM Pro style knobs

    1. the knobs are are wired the same as the diy kit
    2. The TRD portion does not come off with the same portion you need to install the diy kit. You will probably have to pry it off, then drill. Where the drilling occurs is not in the same space as the meso wiring. The meso wires run on the outside of the knob. You are going to drill in the center. Shouldn’t be an issue.

There are relays that you can incorporate in order to utilize the momentary switch on the MESO Stealth Shift knob.

Just ask. There are plenty of TW members that can assist you with your electrical mod requirements.

I got it figured out! I didn’t realize that it was a momentary switch when I posted that. Thank you though!
