Does anyone know how to fix a stuck fuel gauge? I already replaced the fuel sending unit with OEM parts and the issue was not fixed. I have a 2006 Double Cab TRD off road. I was wondering if it could be fixed in the same way this dude does in this youtube video on his 99 4Runner?

I just don't know if you can access the wires in the same spot he does. Has anyone encountered this issue and found a solution? New to the forum so cut me some slack if I'm not too knowledgeable and whatnot :)

    Thanks in advance

    I have no idea.
But the wires are accessible from inside the cab.

Maybe one of the guys that’s smarter than me can give you an idea of what to look for.
You should be able to test the gauge easy enough. What isn’t going to be easy is testing the sending unit.

Thanks again @Jimmyh. I borrowed more of your pictures.

Pins 2 and 5 of the ID2 connector go to the sending unit.
