Wanted to see if anybody else have noticed a disconnect with Taco tunes. Nobody seems to be around open hours when call or email. Trying to complete order that has been placed. Hoping everything is OK with company. Looking forward to wiring, amp, and sub. Any advice?

 

There’s a reason their name doesn’t show up when you type it. That’s all I’ll say.

 

From what i have read and researched, you may want to cancel your payment or wait a couple of months for your product to arrive. Sucks cause it looks like some things they sell could be useful if others produced it with a good business model. The speakers they sell, can be found other places for the same prices but a couple of the harnesses seem nice and even the mounting brackets but Mr Marv will cut a nice set for around $35 plus shipping.

I do like their amp rack which im surprised others on here with the equipment to make a nice one dont do so and sell them for a more reasonable price.

Good luck on whatever you decide but if you do a little reading on their name or there "stars", you will see why its blocked and forbidden

 

Can he make something similar to the hd speaker brackets?

 

He makes his brackets out of wood and look to be really nice. I think there are some post showing his brackets and he has his number listed to call. I reached out a couple of weeks ago to get an idea on his prices and thats the price i recall plus shipping for a 6.5" front door bracket.

I was looking at mainly the wiring harness, 5 channel amp and sub. I already replaced door speakers.

 

Oh ok. Im not sure who else would make the harness. Id prob be leary of ordering something that expensive from them

 

I was able to get a response from them pretty easily and quickly through email. I dealt with both Daniel and Josh. I've only ordered their wiring harnesses and amp rack over the last few years, no actual audio equipment. Haven't had any issues with getting the products in a timely manner. I did have a delay in my most recent purchase of a wiring harness for my Tacoma but they told me up front it would be a little longer due to covid plus they had the snow storm that crippled Texas add to the delay. They reached out unsolicited to apologize for the delay and when they planned to ship it out and then sent it priority mail. Not saying they haven't had their problems, but just adding my experience with them.
