Big thanks to @dave5623 for installing the OV tune in my truck and helping me do an emergency oil change! He’s one hell of a dude and I recommend him to any one looking for the OV tune. Took 15 min not even. Thanks again man glad we met!

 

That was definitely a new one. I should offer oil changes while I OV Tune as a new service offering, OV Jiffy Lube Tuning.

 

The tune is still on my list of things to do... just other things come up first... one day tho, one day.

A buddy of mine is gettin his 98 4runner rolling again. It had 4 flat tires over the winter so we just needed tires that would hold air so we can move it around again.

lol, only 1-2 months. Thanks! I had ordered it a few days ago and it was it should be delivered by 3/25. I only suck with it cuse it was $5.00 cheaper than the Turtlewax site.
I’ve watched a few videos and it looks like a decent paste wax and $60 cheaper than getting the Adam’s Graphene and ceramic kit. Plus with the Adam’s kit I would need to do it the right way and clay bar it first and I’m not ready for that...

I usually clay bar at least 2 times a year but I think once in the spring with a good polish ,wax and sealant should suffice. I’m getting tired of constantly cleaning my truck . I have a DA polisher also now so that helps save the arms .

 

Nice, I think that’s a good plan especially around here. I bet the polisher does help. I’ll get one at some point. What other products do you use? I’ve been using chemical guys auto wash gloss soap, butter wax then the turtle wax ceramic spray and dry stuff.

 

I was surprised at how much and how easy the clay bar was.

 

Did you use the bar or mitt? I was thinking of the mitt once I decide to go that route.

 

Used a kit from Mothers with the bar.

 

I have the mitt from Adams and i was shocked with how much it picked up with such little effort compared to normal clay bar
