Dasaita PX30 Head Unit

I was sent two wiring harness , so we used the JBL harness. I'm not really sure but its allowing my sub to turn on. Could this be from using the wrong harness? Also the steering wheel will not program and the camera doesn't work. When I bought the Head unit it said it also had a DSP/HDMI video output which I don't see. Also does anyone have the direction to install the radio?

it does NOT allow my sub to turn on

 

Did you wire the backup camera correctly? it needs power from the backup lights to turn it on and signal the head unit that it's on.
Did you program the steering wheel controls in the menu/app? it's super straightforward once you get into the app.

Which headunit did you buy exactly? do you have a link to where you purchased it?


There is an Audio/Video section of the Board here. Did you read the various Dasaita/seicane/joying threads about android headunits?

 

The camera I will have to check it out.

Go into the canbus setting and select I think rav4 or hilux or Camry. My units out at the moment but since you can job or a later 2nd gen you need to select the canbus settings. It won’t work unless you do that. It may fix your issue. You should need to wire any extra wires for the camera either. I didn’t it was plug and play but I did cry wolf on the same issue of controls before adjusting the settings. may even fix your sub. Maybe but I don’t have a JBL setup.

once you do that you can mess with the controls. the screen only works out of the box if/when you have an early 2nd gen or the non canbus harness which does. It support plug and play camera

 

Ok I went and rewired it with a friend that has a strong audio background. Now my camera works thanks to the Seicane 12v to 6v part.

got my subs working but just don't sound right so we looked got the DSP can't find it .

What is it that I'm supposed to have when it says DSP in the Head unit description? Is it an App ?

Are you going into the factory settings screen, putting in code '126,' and then changing the steering wheel settings from there and selecting the rav4,hilux,camry (can't remember which one either) setting as per the previous message. That's what I had to do to get my steering wheel to work. Didn't even have to remap the controls. Just worked perfectly after that for me.
