Let's see em! Cross box, in bed, whatever your running. Looking for inspiration. Thinking of a standard cross box tool box right now.

I like to keep a small tool set handy, portable, dry, and locked up. Easy in, easy out. No fuss, no mess. Not what you are thinking but it's how I roll.

Here's my set-up. I bolted it to the bed in two places but can remove it in less than 10 minutes if the need arises. It allows me to carry most of the tools I need when I'm on road trips without taking-up space in the back seat. Bonus it keeps my bed mat secure! Needless back-story, this tool box began it's life in the 70's bolted into the back of my Dad's Ford Courier work truck.

I've had the same Contico "Utility Tuffbinn" for at least 15 years, in four trucks. I like it because it's moveable. It can be moved if more bed space is needed. Normally I have it secured to the bed with turnbuckles, but it can also be bolted in.

Here's my setup. 95L Roam box that fits all my tools and recovery gear. Held in place with some simple nylon straps. Also removed drain valve and replaced it with an eye bolt so I can lock it to truck bed.

I just got this box for like 220$ on sale at Lowe’s. Aluminum, fits between the wheel wells.

While not a 3rd gen, I really like my aluminum BB SEC box. Bought it off facebook marketplace for a decent price. It's a half size box so I don't lose too much bed space.

Here is mine. It’s suspended from the front rail with 3 L brackets.

I ended up going with a husky brand crossbox from home depot. My only complaint is the poor quality of the push button hardware for opening/locking. But that comes with the price point. Otherwise I'm pleased.
