You guys add a dash cam yet? This is the 3rd accident I've got on camera since adding them to both vehicles. The person had to be on their phone or screwing around and they were extremely lucky they didn't kill someone. There were 2 Jeeps going the opposite direction that had to be thinking WTF!?

Can you plug in your phone charger? :) It's that easy. Some people choose to hard wire theirs in but I don't see the need. The wire runs across your windshield(you can normally tuck and hide it), down your A pillar, and then plugs into your cigarette port. It will take you longer to read the instruction manual than install it.

I've had dashcams in my vehicles for the last two decades. The earlier ones typically had battery issues due to heat and died in a couple of years. I have an early garmin dashcam that is still going after 15 years. I put a Thinkware (front and rear sensors) in my Taco the day I brought it home from the stealership. They stop arguments instantly. I have handed mine (SD card) over to the police on several occasions as witness to an accident. We are not as bad as some countries, having driven overseas a bunch, but it never hurts to have an impartial witness.

The simplest one out there is the Garmin Dashcam Mini: https://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Key-Sized-140-degree-Wide-Angle-Automatic/dp/B07R638L8N

The simplest hard wiring is the jumper that plugs into your mirror: https://www.dongartechnologies.com/product/12pin/

Or, you can get a splitter cable for your rear view mirror and plug it up there. Here's the link, but it looks like they are out right now. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DMW3DML/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8

I've always had cameras in my vehicles... with gps. I always wondered how this fences would hold up if a car went in to it.

I was incredibly unimpressed with those "guardrail" cables. We saw several other sections where people flattened them and that car went through it way to easily.

If the median had not been so steep they would have gone into the opposite side of traffic.

Got the needle bearing fix today at Rock your 4x4 in Knoxville. Great guys and inexpensive too. Totally made it worth not doing it myself.
