AVS Low Profile on amazon

    Anybody recently order the AVS rain guards off Amazon?
    The choices for style are in-channel OR low profile.
    I bought these low profile ones for my 2016 a couple years ago, as Amazon confirms, but the listing shows what looks like out of channel vents now.

    One photo shows what's looks like in channel, and the details says some are in channel and some are stick on, and all of the reviews and questions on Amazon are a mis-mosh of people who bought each style.
    I just want low profile, in channel vents like I had on my old truck. The standard in channel vents appear to have a slight bubble to them.
    Afraid if I order these, they'll be the outside stick on kind.
    Any help much appreciated.

    Autoanything show them as being in-channel. Same part number (994036) you are showing above.

    I just received my low profile today, and they are in channel. I know the Amazon details appear to be outside the window channel, but they aren't.

    Edit: I got the dark smoke color because I have one of their hood deflector as well, and wanted them to be the same shade.

    What is really confusing is I went directly to the AVS website first to determine if they were in-channel or stick on. Here is what it said:
    • Internal (in window channel) or external (above window on door) mounts available
    But there is only one part number listed. So that is probably why the Amazon listing is ambiguous. They got the confusing info from the manufacturer.

    I saw that, which makes me think they can be either in channel or stick on, but that doesn't really make any sense considering how each is applied.

    I saw those, just didn't want matte black. The smoked or gloss black blends a little better against the tinted window and my black truck

    From the questions on there, you should be good to go. I have the non low profile. Wish I got the low pros

    If you play it right and check Amazon often, you can find them real cheap. I got a set of front and rear vent visors from Westin for 12 bucks because it was listed as having "damaged packaging." It was surely a steal and they look just as good as the full priced ones.
