So would going up a notch with 888 help? Or do I put stock coils and put 5100s on top notch (mind you they are 2nd gen 5100s)

So there is a guy who has the spacers that would give me 2 inch lift in front. Anyone advice against this?

Just get new springs? Or use OEM stock springs. Stacking lifts might ruin ride quality. Just my 2cents.

I agree with Tattoo. A set of Eibach coils isn’t that expensive and will give you the results you are after. Plus, due to the way their coils are designed, you are able to use the different settings on your 5100’s. At least that’s what I’ve read some of the Eibach reps claim in other threads.

Now you don’t have any rake. What happens when you load it up. Rake is good imo.

Both have bumpers and both springs have sagged. I will be adding top plate spacers to make up for it.

I might have to do that. I mean I have the 888 coils with metal bumper but there sagging and it sucks. Not sure if I should just put the 1/2 spacers on these or just get the 886 coils and do the 1/2 spacer lol

I’m gonna see how my handles it all I installed a bumper and winch today. If it sags to much might move to 886 instead too

    Bilstien 5100's x4 Dobinson 448 springs, rear 2inch AAL
I had the 5100 setup with OME 885 and switched to the Dobinsons c59-448 coils (red) They are the 500lbs comfort rating said to give 3 inches of lift, for me after settling gave me 2.75” inches back as my 885’s sat less than 2.00” after settling.

Oh and no taco lean as they are staggered (driverside is longer) so no spacer.

How long have you had the dobinsons coils? Wondering if they will eventually sag more like the ome coils.

I've had my 888 installed for 2 months with 5100s and I am already unhappy with the sag. Thinking of taking it apart again and adding 1/2" top plate spacers. Disappointed. Rear lift hasn't sagged any.

Been there done that...the problem with taking 888's up the higher is the higher you go MORE bind you put on the springs and stiffer ride. Get new springs...ask me how I know!
