    Hey Everyone,

I searched and every thread seems to have an empty link (from OneDrive) or not really any good info. There seems to be a good second gen thread on it, but no third. Are there third gen torque specs anywhere? Basically need anything suspension related for a lift (front shocks, UCAs, LCAs, Leaf springs, U bolts, rear shocsk)

They also have one fo the Dakars. But you'd think by now people would have had a third gen torque thread.

True. They can't be too different I hope if not the same. More concerned with a well calibrated torque wrench I think.

Awesome thanks man! Maybe a dumb question, but these should all be the same for '17, '18 and '19 as well right?

    I'd assume...
No way of knowing unless someone downloads a current version from TIS and compares.

Yep, torque values are in the shop manuel. I seem to recall a header page at the front of each section with the info.

You can relie on the second gen torque specs as being pretty darn close to what you're looking for.
When it comes to chassis part torques, its a question of vibration more than anything else.

So a bolt torqued to 80 foot pounds vs 95 won't make any difference.
What you don't want to do is torque a bolt which should be 95 at 150 pounds (it causes fatigue in the metal and will not stretch).

Unlike popular belief, a little under is fine,...better than over which causes metal to stretch but not return.

As a previous poster wrote, make sure your tork wrench is accurate to begin with!

Because you may be torking the nuts and bolts alot MORE alot LESS,.. than what you're intending to.

Also make sure the person you borrow the tork wrench from always returned the tension to 0 pounds once put away.

I've seen wrenches be out by as much as 35 pounds because of this.

If you're gonna work on your truck, my advice is to spend the $75 and get yourself a new tork wrench.
You can always use it to tork your lug nut properly afterwards (esecially when you get a flat tire!).
