Got my platform put in my camper shell. Now I need some help figuring out what leaf pack I need to get my rake back lol. Have a deaver medium duty single AAL and it ain’t cutting it with all the weight anymore.

 

Good suggestion. I may look into that. Just need to get one wide enough for the bolt. Much appreciated.

Finished installing the RSi 3rd brake light wiring and the tailgate lock. Stoked to have the bed all done now.

I’ll even walk you through the DIY process if you want to make your own.
The reason I do this is I HATE those wire taps. The way they work is flawed, and they just lead to issues years down the road.

 

I sawed a hole in a perfect fender. Puckerfactor was elevated but it ended up being a lot easier than I thought.

I had previously wired in some Blinker Genie 2’s in a failed attempt at making the mirror signals into running lights. Fried both the stock signals and Meso v4’s as they are signal lights never intended to be run constant on for long periods of time. Hoping to get my hands on some amber/amber v5’s to finally achieve the look I want. Anyway, was bored yesterday and remembered I still had them wired in, so tried a little something different with the Raptor/grille lights I have in the scoop... Not sure how I feel about it yet, but it is cool that the two side Raptor/grille lights signal when I lock/unlock the doors with the remote now, as they were previously tapped to the side marker light and didn’t indicate with the remote.
