So I’m looking at this as a ceramic coating for the truck . Anyone have any experience with this ?

I was looking At the whole kit to do the paint , the wheels and glass .

I have the T4R rims , the matte black ones that are plastidipped right now to keep them from getting f’d up I. The northeast rust belt , but would like a good sealant instead .

The autogeek house brands are usually pretty good though expensive if you're not getting them during a sale. Usually you don't have to wait on a 25% sale long which would make the kit an even better deal.

Use a machine with the cleaner polish if you can.

I use all Blackfire Products, but do have the Diamond Wheel Coating on my wheels. And after Winter I hit it with the high pressure hose, and they looked brand new. Not sure how the Diamond Coating will work on a Matte Finish wheel as it creates a nice shine. I tried the Glass Coating and it sucked, I generally use Blackfire Water Spot Remover. Then use Blackfire Paint Sealant on them. I do the windows twice a year and each time put new wipers on so I do not put old contaminants back on the window. Ceramic Coatings are nice, but Paint Sealants work quite nice as well. I use Blackfire Pro on the roof and hood of my truck as they get the most direct sun and water. Blackfire Sealant is on the rest of the truck.

    Thanks !

yea I was thinking the same thing , other products I used also creates a shiny finish too. I’d rather them shiney and protected from brake dust than pitted with brake dust thou . If anyone else has a suggestion I’m open lol

. I think as long as they both work the same it shouldn’t matter , it’s splitting hairs really . Unless someone can tell me actual difference a ceramic coating is just as good as a sealant I guess ? Or am I wrong

I was looking at Wolfgang’s sealant and optipro (I think that’s the name ) or is it opti sealant but this stuff I think looks better IMO(and it’s just a opinion)

How long are you seeing the product lasts ? If you know . There website boasts 18 months I think I read for the coating on paint if you prep it first with their product

So you just use the paint coating on your windshield ?

    Thanks for your input!

Dr. Beasley's is the brand for matte finish products.

I've heard nothing but good things on all their stuff matte or gloss finish. They've also got new primer polishes that you can use for applying any coating even with a spray on like this PB coating.

thanks , I started looking into that . Looks like that is the ticket for matte wheels

Yea that does look better than what I initially posted , I might go that route . This is not only for my old truck but for my wife’s new rav4 so it should work well for both us

I’m lookin at getting just a cheap o machine probably , I don’t need nothing extravagant (I hope not)
