Hi, I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma OR. I'm in Murfreesboro, TN and I'm looking for trails to start exploring. Nothing extreme, just a day out with the family, light-moderate. I heard about a place in Smyrna - "_______ Pond" (forgot the first name of it). Anyone been there? Any other recommendations would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

FWIW Cheatham WMA is cool, but super hit and miss on when they open the offshoots to main gravel road (the gravel rd is such that a civic could go down). As of last week every single offshoot was closed. There is one access road to the WMA from the south that I’ve found that does not seem to close and is fun. If anyone’s interested and can’t find it PM me. Its only about 3 miles long, with one section of larger fun wash outs for a stock truck with 4wd.

There’s a stretch of public roads south of Nashville that can be linked together in a loop that people call the dirt devil trail, which I just started exploring recently. FYI the roads I’ve driven there are beat up bad from the storms recently, with multiple places impassible—but still fun!

I just realized the OP posted last year and only has two messages total so idk if he’ll even see these replies. But I’m sure many others can benefit from ideas here!
