I’m doing a 3 stage correction on my beetle and I’m really impressed by the griots creams. I was using Meguiars ultimate compound but the griots stuff is in another league. 58313E32-0AA3-4E27-B53A-6DE732B7BE66.jpg

I’ve always read good things about the Griots. I like their spray on tire shine.

Looks great, better than a brand new 2021 OEM paint job.

Some polishes create a lot of dust? How's this fair in terms of dust residue?

Zero dust. And the residue wipes away easy. Lots of videos on YouTube demonstrating that.

A little of this and a little of that.
    @Da Voke Beetle looks amazing!

I’ve used several Griots products and have been extremely happy with them.

Not sure. Not allot of plastic on a 74 beetle:) I did a correction on my wife’s rav last year with ultimate compound and that stuff is a bitch to get off of trim.

I can't speak to leaving it on for hours, but their 3 correction creams wiped away clean for me.

I've not used their all in one polish that leaves a sealant behind, you probably wouldn't want to let that dry.

Some compounds are not made for plastic trim . Most detailing shops tape off the plastic to avoid this . I have found that the green painters tape does a good job of protecting the trim during paint correction

Oh I know all too well, dabble a bit in the paint correction hobby on the side but always interested in new info and products I haven't tried.

Also I'm too lazy to tape my own stuff.

For a customer though that's another story.

Yep. I use all there polishing products. Always great results. Easy to use. I have both the G8/G9 polisher. Beetle looks great. Use their finishing sealant then a good coat of wax. Great job!!

What's your opinion on the G9?

Looking for an upgrade from the Porter Cable 7424.

I thinks it’s great. Easy to control, comfortable. I have the 25ft cord which is great.

Do you have any experience with the G15?

Is the G9 a lot more powerful over the 7424?

I have one and I think it’s great. I’m no pro at this but it’s a solid tool with lots of power. I can see how a forced rotation tool may be better for a pro but the g9 gets the job done for me.
