Can you post a link to the AC plug you purchased with the heat shrink? How difficult was it to tap the AC wires from the factory inverter. I'm also curious how you cut the square hole for the AC plug, as it looks factory. I've been looking for the right setup to do this myself, and your post has inspired me.

This will probably be the most useful mod I do to my truck. I don't understand why every vehicle doesn't have an integrated garage door opener.

 

Got some new shoes! Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo3's, went up a size from factory to 265/75r16. I wanted something a little bigger to go with the Eibach Pro stage I kit I did a few weeks ago.

 

Finally got everything ready for my brake upgrade.

 

If the wheels were not 20s I actually think that color combo and overall look is pretty good.

There are a few threads on here with great pictures of which wires to tap into. I’d post some pics, but they’re all on my computer at home and I’m stuck in Florida.

For the hole, I just used a hot knife. It doesn’t have to be perfect, the flange on the outlet covers about 1/8”. Start small and open it up as necessary. A little at a time.

Solder and heat shrink tube can be any brand and I couldn’t tell you what is sitting on my workbench now much less then. Take your time and enjoy the project. I have found it to be super useful.

Installed a front camera. I am trying it out under my required front license plate holder. If I don't like it here I will move it higher up in my pro grill somewhere. I think I will see if I can get it angled up a little more in its current spot.

 

Nice. By any chance did you consider/research these when looking? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger...

What bracket did you use two mount two pod lights?

 

Still waiting on my front bumper to come in, but in the meantime did the ugly viper cut and added some pods into the factory fog light spot.
