Any PC Builders Out There?

I looked around but didn't find anything like the old "Aero" settings. There was something about Windows HD mode, and apparently I am set in "Game Mode" in one place. I have to say that the display settings seem to be quite a jumble of stuff in Win 10. Only thing I have really messed with are the multi-screen settings.

 

Since this is the most active Tech thread I’ll ask this here, is there a way to pull the audio from a video on iPhone and use it as a ringtone?

 

I know how to pull audio from a video on a computer, but my iphone knowledge is very limited. Where's the video from? Youtube?

 

It’s from my camera roll, I can upload it to YouTube though.
I had some friends out from So-Cal and one of them decided to jump in the lake on a dare, her sister is very loudly calling her an idiot in the video.

 

I can grab audio-only from a YouTube video and trim it to a desired section/length.

I found it.
"Performance" in the search window.
window pops up, left tab.
lets windows choose performance or you can uncheck a bunch of stuff.

I guess I misspoke when I sad "Aero". I think this "performance" feature has been here since win 95.

Basically the last water block I could find anywhere for my ancient Quadro M5000 GPU.

I think I'm going to go simple with my first custom water cooled loop, and buy an EK kit and the additional fittings, tubing, radiator, and fans to cool the GPU and CPU.

This way when I upgrade to a newer Quadro RTX eventually, I'll already have a loop meant for a GPU water block.

If anyone has any advice for a beginner with water cooling I'm all ears!

 

Get an air tester to check for leaks.

Don't run the pump dry when you're filling.

Don't use a color first time out, go with clear fluid or distilled plus additive. You don't need the hassle of colors, especially solids, first go around.

Use soft tubing. It'll look good and give you experience for hard tubing next time out.

Welp I think my 3080 is dead RIP lmao

So I have been having issues with my computer so when I would turn on my computer about 5 min after I would get a black screen followed by it wanting to restart till a full shut down. I assumed it was a heat issues so I pulled the trigger and upgraded my case to a O11 Dynamic case with new liquid cooler.

Now as soon as I want to play any games it crashes. I ran the Heaven Benchmark and same thing just crashes. Updated driver and even uninstalled them to see if that would solve issue.

Any help or advise would be appreciated!

 

Unfortunately or fortunately, it could be anything. I always try to start with the cheapest fix, but it also helps to have a lot of spare parts lying around. It could be power issues, so if you have another known good PSU, try that first. Then start swapping things out, if you have the parts and can (GPU, memory, CPU) to isolate where the problem is. These new CPUs and GPUs can really pull some power when boosting, so having a quality power supply is a must.

 

+1 on possible power issue. What PSU do you have? Did you run two 6 pin cables for the GPU, or is it 1 daisy chain cable?

 

I have a Corsair 850 powering everything and it is a single Daisy chain cable that’s powering the GPU. I was leaning towards PSU as well. So I’m going to pick up a new one after work if not the ram try the ram sticks next.

 

I’m going to to start swapping parts I just wish I had extra parts laying around that would be awesome! I do have an extra card. I swapped it and it’s crashing when I run games. The computer is also being laggy. Thats the main reason why I upgraded to a 3080. Now 5 months later and having this issue.
