Replacement options for snugtop shell window facing the cabin?

I am picking up a snugtop shell for my 1st Gen DC, but it does not have a window on the cab side, as shown in the picture. What are my options for adding one here? Couldn't find a decent third party that makes these windows and it sounds like going to snugtop dealers directly will cost a bit.

Im not too worried about rain/weather since I am in cali but I would prefer to have the whole thing sealed with a window; worst case I add some sort of cheap film though to keep bugs and water out

 

If the frame is still there and fairly intact you might be able to adapt plexi to it. If there is no frame you're probably out of luck. To give you an idea, I'm dealing with the door/hatch of my Leer 100R which ripped off because I forgot to close it as I was exiting the garage. For me the glass was intact just the frame around the glass was bowed out to hell. Tried rigging it but its shot. Called a local dealer and it'll take 4-6 weeks for Leer to ship it out and grand total is sitting at $566 to replace it including labor. This would be the door plus frame the door sits in. Leer won't sell it any other way.

For you, if you can't do the plexi, perhaps this would be sufficient.

Measure the opening to be sure and you may have to do some searching for the right size. I hear an inflatable bike tube will work just fine also. With a snugtop, it'll be barely noticeable.

according to google they are permanently closed. they had a hinge I was going to try.

 

Man $566, thats wild. From the pics i dont think they have a frame, from what I understand they opted for no window so they could access the shell easily from the cabin. Maybe fold down wasnt an option at the time, dunno. Ill see when I pick it up.

Actually looking closer, it already has a boot. When its on the truck, it should be fine. The product I linked too wont even work without a window in place lol. Sorry man, my mind is elsewhere dealing with my own cap problems

 

No worries. Youre right the boot creates a seal so its not a big deal.

However, i am actually pretty unimpressed with the shell so far. The window frames look really poorly built. Is this normal quality for snugtop? The threads are just directly drilled on the window in odd ways, and the frame around them is crooked for one window. Theres also this black goop on both windows and for the crooked window one of the screws actually drills into the black goop. I have some pics but its night here, ill post more detailed pics tomorrow.
