S&W Grips

so last friday i went out and got myself a smith and wesson 686 .357 mag, not to fond of the grips on them wife likes it a lot but not my taste im tryin to find a good set of wood grips anyone know

 

I would try Hogue. They have excellent rubbe and wood grips.

If you are in to the bone thing, (antlers) search the web for places that sell antlers. Tell them the base size you need, cut them in half and finish them off.
Wish I would have seen this post before, I could of helped you out. My large sheds are out the door, but will be looking again next year early if interested.

 

Also, if that is not your thing try grips4guns.com you will need to know the type of frame, I believe it is K or L.

do you by any chance make custom antler grips, that would be thing. ive got ivory forend for my weatherby and i like that so anything similar would be great. thanks!

 

I have never tried to make grips, but the idea is sound.
I would do some looking, on the internet, I know I have seen them somewhat cheap.
And I may give it a try when time permits, I have got to many things on my plate right now if you know what I mean.
