Hadn't gotten any notification, so checked back today to see when the group buy would be... and it's already done?!? What the hell? Seriously, you all didn't send out a notification to those who said "yes" and now the thing isn't available anymore?

 

Then change your notifications to send emails? Watch the dates set a calendar reminder?

 

That’s too hard. We want someone to organize the group buy, send us individual PM’s, email, send a post card, order, pay and install for us.

 

I received an email notification of your response to me... without changing my settings.

 

I emailed the company regarding my defective camera almost 2 weeks ago with no response. I guess I have to eat the cost of the new camera

 

Installed my front camera. Painless installation, except that my kit didn’t come with instructions AND I found the instructions online to be confusing. I guess not everyone is a writer. But with the help from the forum, clearing up installation details in regards to the premium camera on a 2021, everything went together well.

I did have one snag...somewhere along the installation process, the orange wire (from the kit supplied loom) came loose from its pin. Unfortunately there was no way to save this as the pin was still in the plastic housing connector. I called Brian the next morning and explained the situation. He sent me a new plug on the house. It arrived in two days and I was back on business.

The two led lights on camera switch, turn on when the front camera is on. I find that strange like others do, but sounds like it’s normal. My rear camera flicks on for a split second when turning the front camera off. Again, strange but normal.

Pumped on the camera and pumped I got it for a discount. Thanks again to the op for setting up the group buy.

 

Give them a call. Might be a lot faster. I've had better results when calling.

@AviToyoTaco Hey where did you mount yours? I want to keep my stock grill and was looking at these two places……..if I go under the emblem the bottom lip of the camera will hang down a little bit - if I go underneath - I “think” I should be good and it would capture everything and not get cut off by the bottom portion of the grill….

Also installed mine under the emblem. A little cutting that I still need to smooth out, but did the trick.

For those of you that completed the install how long did it take to get everything wired in and setup?

 

about 2hrs. you will need splice connectors and a couple ring connectors for grounds
