yeah, I did the add delete twice because I blew it up the first time. Lol. Second diff was a replacement.

The first time I dropped my diff because I needed the pinion tightened up. Without a solid spacer I wasn’t sure of the torque and I didn’t want to over preload the bearing. So it came out to be fixed.

They are hard to find but may save you some money. Like I said, it’s about 12-1400 from the dealer for the tube, bolts, bearings, seals and what not.

I think I may want all those seals, and bearings new. I might just bite the bullet on those parts and buy them from the stealership.

    :spending:

    *Edit*
Next let me ask you about the 3 sensors in the FJ t-case. 2wd/4wd and hi/lo sensors.

You simply plugged these 3 into your wiring harness because same connectors, same sensors? Can I swap the ones in my taco case into the FJ case? The ones on the FJ T-case seem way to crapped out.

I read the posts you made in the wiring thread, that is what it seems like?

Yeah that was the route I went. New everything as I didn’t think I was going to find a manual case. I even got a rebuild kit for the fj case too.

as for the wiring you only require two sensors from your Tacoma case. You will need to plug a third in the fj case. These go to the wiring under the dash and directly to the dash lights so it all works as it should (I got my sensors mixed up so it was a matter of swapping the wires in the dash).

this is the pic I used for sensors. I can’t remember if I payed attention to the sensor types which is why I got them mixed up and had to adjust my wiring under the dash.

You will notice one of the holes is plugged. I used the drain bolt from my stock tcase for this.

    Thanks Peter.

I would be lost with you pointing me to all the correct things.

This is going to happen sooner rather than later. For some weird reason, I want this.

Time to acquire all the things. :spending:

Maybe tonight I will call you. :fistbump:

Fiasco is right. Too much droop, cv popped, diff go boom. Torque loading is no joke.

@tacoma16 you seem to have many more seals than in my list.

I will be buying the 1x – 4132135050 diff tube hosing from manual FJ cruiser new, so it comes with new seals?

No I made a new seal. The rubber boot around the shifter will come with yours. I made the aluminum plate and bought the red rubber off of Amazon.

The seals there were from the rebuild kit for the tcase. Bought separate from the add delete stuff.

all the parts #s in the add delte thread you will need. Give me a sec and I’ll post some stuff.
