What’s the lifespan and why doesn’t bubba rope have one?

I’ve heard the truck thing called “Carolina Squat”. And yes it is way too popular here in NC/SC.
They also call it being “tooted”.
Used in sentence : “That bitch tooted.”

I always think it looks like a dog dragging it’s ass on the ground.

The fuck, I just got one of these. Now I'm really mad because I probably did 10 snatches on its first trip

Has anyone actually seen any proof of this? He says "service life of 10" and implies that mean 10 pulls, and goes on to say that it's not present on the ones sold in the US.

It could mean 10 year lifespan or 10 pulls under very specific test conditions dictated in some Australian standard that doesn't apply in the US. If the rating of other dynamic ropes is a guideline, these pulls would likely be far more severe than typically seen, and applied in a very short amount of time. I found the Australian standard that seems to apply, but there's no mention of markings for service life anywhere in it.

If I recall correctly, he clarified it was generally 10 "hits" as in actual full-energy snatches, not just 10 "pulls". Also, that wasn't a hard number, and said to just monitor the elasticity of the strap.
Nothing in the ARB manual I have with mine says anything about a lifespan or max use.
For a third/quarter of the price of a full-time kinetic rope, the strap isn't a bad deal for the weekender who might not see a use of it for months. The only time I've used mine was to gently pull a 2WD F150 out of a freak snow storm a month ago.
