3 way OEM switch for lightbar

    Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
    YOUR intent, the DRL would not be a source of power for the light bar, at least I would not use as one. Also, the DRL will turn OFF when low beams are selected. Would you want that?
    And, NO, there is no need for an additional ground for the light bar, the added switch is another thing.

    It is possible but you do need the extra ground. Because you are using more than one switch. Unless you tie both light bar positive wires into the trucks harness. Like if you had DTR lights on one oem switch and the LED part of the bar tied into the headlights

    With an added SPDT switch instead of the additional relay:
