This light indicator means what?

I cant turn it off
Heck i dont even know how that thing turned got in there

You're in 4 wheel drive.

 

Looks broken. You should take it back and trade it in for a Corolla

 

Now how do i disengage this thing it doesnt turn off

Try this..

Sit in the passenger seat, open the compartment directly in front of you, located on the dash. There should be a packet of paperback books in there, look for the one that says "Owner's Manual". Usually has a nice picture of your vehicle on the cover. Read the book all the way through, report back on your findings

 

RTFM doesn't work?

 

Lol i did that for the love of god i have no idea what to look for
This truck was parked and this light just freakin came on and locked up the back
Iits not even dialed in on 4x4
I tried switching it from 4lo 4hi
Nothing works

 

Knob to the left of your climate control knobs. You may need to push it in to get it to turn. (Am I being my normal nice/patient/helpful self and getting messed with? Okie-diddly)

So turning it to "2WD" doesn't make a difference and the light just blinks?

If you drove around in 4x4 accidentally the drivelines may have bound up. It can be tricky getting it un-bound. May have to jack up the rear axle and get the wheels off the ground

I did that doenst work the red light 4x4 will gobon and turned off when i let go of the botton

I know the 4x4 is engaged
I can feel the back is locked

 

Ugh fucked it ill get it toqed to toyota
Let them take care of it
Since i have extended warranty
Might just used this as a reason to get a tundra

And STAY AWAY FROM 4X4

 

I’d stop driving around in 4wd on dry pavement until you fix it. Just me opinion.

 

Its parked ill call toyota on Monday and get it towed
I dont wanna drive it while the 4x4 is engaged
