Where to Overland for Texans..

One of these days I'd like to take the trailer down there, but after the massive cleaning and repairs I had to do when I camped at Malibu/Point Mugu in CA, It might be a while before I'm in a beach mood again.

Aww hell, who am I kidding, I was thinking of sidetripping to Gulf Shores/Destin on this year's road trip.

Just drive around on nice trails, use some apps to find some good private or state camps and see the sites.

Nope. Saving money so I can pay off debt and clear up some more income. I did a week-long trip to New Mexico traveling the Lincoln National Forest last year with the family, though.

My cousin's up in Pennsylvania do the swamp drags with them big ass lifted trucks with the tractor tires and they said they know quite a bit of camping and off the grid land to do some stuff on

 

Matagorda is fun. I know people like South Padre area if its not to bad a drive.

 

Matagorda Bay looks nice! can you beach camp or do you stay in the RV park?
