Oh yeah, I called on that and I don't think I told you. Yeah, they don't uh, make the screen door that comes with our door, not the one we paid for anyways. They make a cheap version now and apparently it's really awful Since we were promised the other, the installers are gonna have to drive to lowes in mid MO to go pick our screen door up. They're gonna update me on that next week.

Also, you need to update the OP baaaaaaad lol.

This is my contribution today; I'm moving my stained glass stuff out of the garage to make more room in there for the manly stuff :muscleflexing: not too worried about the water from my grinder splashing onto the temp wall there, but might throw up some waterproofing like masonite etc anyways. Drywall surface is for soldering. I'll throw up more pics when the entire studio isn't a complete mess. I don't work down there much. The game room is nice and cozy so it's more of a storage area than anything, but I might be down there more now that I'm moving my stained glass setup in.

I reorganized the garage some, and put all my OEM takeoffs on a shelf, put in a few rubbermaid track pieces to organize some small stuff and we just moved @gasparic104 's resin station into the studio. Other than that, no real improvements yet.

Fixing my furnace with a new draft inducer, saving this part list in case of future issues. Thanks @IPNPULZ

Don't fertilize, just weed and use a surfactant. Won't grow as fast.

Been a real long time since I posted in here, but we tore down the divider in the basement and just recently I repurposed some of the wood from that into a new workbench as we reorganized the garage to fit the new corolla in. Nothing fancy or exact, just used what was available. Built it to the same desk height as the other bench I built (on the left) that's on wheels so I can use it to support material if need be. Will probably end up moving the drill press over after I reinforce the new bench a bit more and bolt it down. Also bought myself a nice 6 pc Ryobi power tool set that really came in handy since my other B&D drill disappeared with the only battery and my cheapy walmart drill (red one on the right) was taking over an hour to charge.

I did the cowl air intake mod on the truck a while back and saved the cutouts, repurposed one so now I can use my parts tray in a handy spot.

Forgot to mention we got the rear screen door a while back and @gasparic104 painted the exterior trim on the back door.
I also cut down about 5 trees along the fence line of our neighbor who doesn't take care of his property. Actually ran into the County Assessor looking at the neighbors property from my side yard before I left for work and he asked the same question everyone asks about that house, "Is this house abandoned?" No sir, just a negligent recluse of an owner....

You forgot to mention my lovely addition of an "Employees Only" Sign to the basement studio :(
    I'm very proud of that

    upload_2021-7-22_12-58-3.jpg

All jokes aside, I'm working (very slowly) on making the basement my primary workspace so I can clean up the guest bedroom, get the lightbox setup out of the livingroom, etc.

For now, all the toxic, explosive, smelly and loud shit has a workspace. Messy, but functional.

I noticed a stack of papers I had put in front of my filing cabinet was warm, so I felt the carpet and thought it was weird that the carpet above the garage would have a warm spot, so I stepped on it and there was certainly a rectangular hole  every time you touch something in this house, you find a cute little easter egg like that I swear

HOLY CRAP. My neighbor cut down a bunch of the backyard trees and then trimmed every tree on his property and had all his brush cleaned up. YAY less leaves. Not YAY, I have to see his ugly, moldy house. Also he still has plants growing in his gutters.... I'll have to snag some photos. From what I heard through the grape vine, one of our neighbors called the city on him for the way his property was so he called a company out to clean it up. I was able to talk to them since they needed us to move our cars so they could delimb the big oak out front and they told us they tried to do more but the guy said "Just do the bare minimum so the city will stop bothering me."

House needs some help, but overall feel very privileged to be here.

Thankful for the neighbor on the opposite side of him who brags about calling the city on him weekly

I just hope the dude moves into a different place where people look after him. He's a single old man, he leaves once a day for 20 minutes, his house is in crazy disrepair (obviously), his kids never come to see him, he won't talk to anybody and I heard through the grapevine that he has cancer. I just worry about something happening to him and no one knowing because the house looks absolutely abandoned.

We got new siding on the house! I have a lot of work to do with some paint now, but it's the perfect week for it, couldn't be happier. Pics to follow.

(leaving this here so I remember to update)
