I have a 2000 Tacoma 3.4 sr5 4x4. I need the part number for the bolt that tightens the Alternator belt. It's a long bolt a threaded block and a small mounting bolt

    Reserected from the dead.
Let me guess. The bolt broke at the T-nut?

    Same happened to me.

I took the entire thing out, heated the T-nut red hot and removed the siezed section.

Welded the bolt back together, added 3 washers to the bolt head section and reinstalled. Good as new. I did anti siezed the hell out of that tensioner bolt. I don't think it will ever be an issue.

Yes sir it twisted the bolt in half. But I do not own a welder yet. So I want to just buy a new bolt for the Tensioner block but Autozone and Advanced Auto are clueless on how to find it in their computer without a part number. And I'm having trouble finding the right part number myself.

Jason Lee. Thanks for your response. But I'm looking for the part number for the bolt that goes through the tensioner block for the Altanator. Not the bolt the mounts the Altanator.

Just saw your post on Facebook also. I’m on my phone so I can’t look at the parts list too well. But I attached it here in case you haven’t already looked at it.

There’s also a link stickied in the 1st gen parts BST for parts look up.
