Same, I've been eyeballing this generation for years. Decided to finally do it, especially since the truck is creeping past DDable terrority lol.

Needless to say, worked out a deal with a neighbor to store motorcycles in her very empty garage in exchange for some handyman work. Now both cars tucked away from asshats.

Forgot to report, had a P0420 code pop up not long after hitting 200k or so. It occasionally popped up when wheeling, but now has remained persistent even with highway driving. Threw a URD O2 simulator in and all good again. Very easy to install.

    CTS-V update:
    -Removed flat black hood sticker
-Removed the 2% tint off the sunroof
-Replaced driveshaft due to weird squeak during load/unload conditions (not serviceable )
    -Added 3rd brake flasher
-Replaced fogs with 3000k LEDs, replaced headlight bulbs with Osram Night Breaker Lasers, DRLs with 3000k LEDs, license plate lights with amber LEDs
-Replaced backup camera with updated OEM unit
-Shaved off metal from muffler bracket due to Corsa muffler hitting it when going over whoops/rough roads
-Opened up headlights and sealed them better due to fogging during rain
    -Touched up various nicks/chips
-Adjusted headlight aim (was way low)
-Replaced Airaid air filter with DRY filter (got a CEL for restricted intake air.. discovered previous unit was oiled)
    -Cleaned MAF sensor
-Removed light-up "SUPERCHARGED" strut bar emblem thing and added the original engine bay plastics that were missing
-Changed diff oil and engine oil

Next plan is to cut some of the front splitter due to poor brake duct tube fitment and rear of splitter not fitting correctly with contour of brake duct flare at the front of the wheel well.

Been needing to do this for a while now.

Removing a leaf from each pack for hopefully a better ride. Removed the plastic slip pads. Flap disc on the rust, repaint, and leaf spring liners is the plan.

That was a dumb decision made in 2008ish which I have not felt motivated to fix lol

Finally done. Hopefully nothing falls off when I take it for a spin around the block.

Alignment must have gotten thrown off by removing a leaf in each pack. Steering wheel points passenger a little driving straight now. Which may potentially mean I now have to replace my LCAs sooner than anticipated because last time they couldn't adjust the camber

On the bright side, the truck rides mindbogglingly better. Feels like a sedan now
