I rolled the dash tube and broke the A pillar up, just easier to drop the cage down that way. And if you don't want to poke the cage out of the back above the rear window, you could always terminate the cage inside the cab then you won't have to cut the sheet metal at all. Again, depends how extensive you want to get with it.

So that right there is exactly what they do with A B and C. They miter squares and then work everything off of those squares. A pillar from dash bar up to termination point outside the cab, all roof tacked and then dropped down and pulled out of the back window opening. It gets bench welded and then slid back in through rear open window and put back in place and then B and C uprights get installed to tie everything together. Thought it was super interesting. I definitely want to extend A pillar outside the rear of the cab so I will pull the window. I watched some bros from HI do it on YouTube. Surprised how easy the window came out. No glue or sealant or anything. Nuts! I would like to do the engine cage now but we'll see how I'm feeling. Definitely anxious as hell to start this project. Went and got the tube bender out of storage today.

On a shitty side note: Bender die from Eastwood was supposed to have arrived today from FedEx. At about 4pm I realized that they hadn't come yet. I checked tracking and FedEx had some delivery exception notice that the package was damaged in transit and to contact seller. Package now says delivery Monday 11/30. I have absolutely no idea what the fuck that means but I'm frustrated to say the least. I've had the worst experience the last 2 or 3 times I've had to use FedEx. It's starting to piss me off. I'm hoping it's just the box or something because how the fuck do you break a DIE??????????!!!!!!!!!

Haven't watched the kibbe video so maybe this is something they've done, but you can build your cab cage sleeved on the bottom in order to drop it

I was thinking that I'd have to run the tube outside the frame and tie it in with a plate and frame kicker. FuckEX says my delivery is arriving by end of day today! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Wowwwwwwwwww! I can't even explain my displeasure with FedEx at this point. Somehow it appears this package was either damaged or item must be straight missing because I just checked tracking again and the package was "delivery exception" again today after I received phone call saying delivery by end of day today. I just got off the phone with Eastwood Tools and they said likely the package is being returned to sender and to give up hope that it will be delivered. So either the die was stolen out of the box or somehow they broke it, I don't know. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!! This is the third bad experience in recent history with FUCKEX delivery. Soooooo pissed!!! I stayed home from work today to receive this fucking DIE too! LOLLLLLLLLL This is just a dick tickle at this point! Fuck me. My god. Soooooooooo Eastwood Tools did come correct though which was very nice of them and are sending out a new die with 2 day air to make up for the inconvenience. Hopefully I should have this die by Friday. What a nightmare!

Next question. How quickly do you think I can knock out a cage? We do the Poker Run in Puerto Penasco, Mexico every year the day after the Super Bowl. So like February 1st I believe... I was thinking 2 months should be sufficient but I don't know if I'm dreaming or does that sound reasonable even for a NEWBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB COMO YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO???????

Orale, nothing else to do today. Maybe I should crack open a ROJO.... CON MAS SABOR!!!!

So not sure how Eastwood wants to do this but it appears the first die actually got delivered and now a second one is already on it's way. Wonder if Eastwood won't want one back and I get a 2for?????? FUCKEX pulled their head out of their ass and I guess after my package sat there for a couple of days they decided to deliver it.

    GSP APPROVED! YEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

BUMP for a 2020 Christmas Story

So this guy I know :) buys a die from stiffwood tools about 10 days ago. My buddy waited all day Sunday for FuckEx delivery but nothing showed. My buddy then took off of work Monday because the die was to be delivered that day. Nothing showed. He was sooooo raging pissed at FuckEx delivery for holding his package in Tempe AZ for 2 days that he called STIFFWOOD tools to see what was up. The lady told my buddy to forget about the die, it's not arriving. They gave my buddy a refund and sent another die 2 day shipping to make up for the inconvenience. Tuesday rolls around and my buddy receives automated phone call from FUCK EX saying package will be delivered Tuesday between 11-4pm. To his surprise the package actually arrived this time. He was all smiles. Now my buddy realized that a second die had already shipped and was on it's way. My buddy is an honest guy but doubts that STIFFWOOD tools will want to pay for return shipping when the cost of shipping could be around the cost of the die. So he waited. The tracking information stopped when it got to Nashville TN. So my buddy thought STIFFWOOD might have placed a stop or hold and return on the package. So now my buddy needed to buy an air jack for the bender. He goes to HF HIGHER FATE and checks out for one $99 8 ton air ram. My buddy says the guy comes out of the back with a bigger than usual box. He also said that the guy at the register even commented how big the box was for just an ram jack. My buddy is handicap so the HIGHER FATE employee carries the rather large and overly heavy box to his truck for him. My buddy told me when he got home he was cussing up a storm at the sheer heaviness of this box for just one 8 ton ram. He's handicap so it wasn't easy getting it out of the bed of the truck and inside. So this is the kicker!!! My buddy told me right before he slices the box open he sees that it says items: 2/2. He slices the box open and sure as shit there are TWO 8 ton fully pneumatic air rams in their respective boxes. He told me he laughed so fucking hard and started yelling big dick shit he was so happy. 2 for 1. Even though my buddy is extremely honest he's not really considering taking it back because he says it was their fault and they were the ones that carried it out of the store and into his truck so how could the liability be his???? Furthermore, it's a Christmas gift so the box was never "opened" and "verified" before it got wrapped and under the tree for the next 23 days he says if anyone ever asks. He flat out told me that HIGHER FATE will have to have the PHX PD show up to his house and even then, no probable cause so no entry. My buddy loves civics and the 4th amendment. So now my buddy goes to bed all happy. Now he tells me that he got home from work today and sure as shit, the second die from STIFFWOOD is sitting at the front door. So now my buddy can't believe how lucky he's just gotten. He says he's pry going to make a second bender now and sell it for profit...

    2020 WHAT A FUCKING YEAR!

How hard is it to get behind the Seats into the extra cab portion with just sliders on the bucket seats?
