I just ordered this one yesterday. It looks like it will work well on the square crossbars. I will likely use it a little differently than designed. I primarily want something to assist with loading a 15' kayak by myself. This has the arms that can be adjusted down, so I'll probably mount both parts toward the back of the truck so I can extend the bars out past the side of the truck, then rest the front half of the yak on them and pivot it up onto the racks while standing on the tailgate. Might not even use it to haul the kayak, can just strap it directly to the rack, but this should prevent paint damage to the truck by giving me something to rest the yak on when I slide it up top.

Installed my rack this weekend , pretty easy w two people followed YouTube videos of prinsu installs and there was nothing really different. I did talk to a few people on Instagram and suggested I painted the spacers and bolts black prior to installing ( optional) and get different washer (don’t know if I needed to but did go to Home Depot and spent 3 bucks just incase. Really liked the way it came out will be ordering another set of handles and some baja s2 lights for the rear. Very happy w my Martin rack

What handles are those? They look really nice with the red TRD Pro badging.

Does anyone know the actual dimension differences between the Martin and the Prinsu? I hear that it's a little lower profile, but is the width across the truck the same? The length? Just trying to get a comparison of them.

Installed mine today. This rack is quality all-around. I'm very pleased that I went with Martin's rack over another brand.

Thanks! Mine is actually not so clean with all the rain we've had in the last couple days. I plan on getting her washed up good this weekend though.

So I actually decided to sell mine. I know, I just installed it two days ago, it still has the new metal smell to it, but i realized it is really for someone who needs a serious rack setup, and that's not me. I have no intentions on using an RTT or hauling accessories like cases and traction gear. It was mainly for kayaks/canoe, but I think I prefer a different method for that. This rack is absolutely a high quality rig and I highly recommend it to someone who needs one like it.

Yeah, racks are decision you should think through completely. I waited for months deciding and even bought a hitch mounted extension to haul yaks, canoe, or small jon boats or other long materials. The problem with that is having the tailgate down and not being able to secure other stuff in the bed (I have a topper). I certainly wouldn’t add one simply for the “look” even though they look cool with racks on cab and shell on a long bed (helps with the proportions imo).

All of you guys who have installed weather stripping to the front, what type of wind noise did it prevent? I definitely get some noise once I get up around 70-80mph but it's not like a whistle or anything. More so just buffeting

Thanks, that's kinda what I figured as well. Wasn't going to throw weather stripping on if it wasn't going to do anything different

Closer you get the deflector to the roof the better. The weatherstripping does help a bit, but make sure it’s not making contact with roof and could trap grit / wear on paint.
