Thank man! You guys have all been a lot of inspiration. Hopefully it'll be all go soon rather than just show as I slow down to clear my firewall on speedbumps hah!

Some thoughts I wanted to share on the suspension to maybe help someone else out as time goes on through trial and error.

The rear- back when I was able to run with 35s and actually run the truck offroad, it was clear as day that the rear was too stiff from valving. This was amplified even worse once I added another leaf to my expo pack. It was even apparent driving on road (but I am not concerned about that). Rear end would buck off of the first hit. Yeah, even off a speed bump I could feel the rear tire catch substantial air. More than what would be expected.

Pulled the rear shocks apart and they were six shims straight .012s all the way for both compression and 6 for rebound. I went with a straight .008 stack for rebound and did .010 for the first three low speed (big) compression shims and .012 for the last three smaller shims aimed more towards high speed compression. I also did a flutter stack....

On road the difference feels night and day. It just feels right. The real test will be in the dirt though.

    .008
    ..008

    ..008
    ......010
    .....010
    ....012

I am really looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Anything will be better than it was. I am 100% sure to really set the balance of my truck on whoops I will have to stiffen the front end valving up a little bit to keep the nose up more which will help balance the back end out. It is also a little pogostick-ish which I saw in a video of it, so I would assume slow the rebound down a little.

Rear 2-1/2" stroke bumpstops were shortened to 2" of travel and I moved the first three low speed shims from .015 to .012 as they were a bit overkill for my weight to be honest.

Once I finally get to tubbing my front end I can finally test this out!

These look good with ifs and 37s. Proportions look inline. Interesting to see how the front holds up to them though

    38s actually LOL!
I'm pretty easy going on my stuff, kind of... I don't mash and jam things, but I am rough on stuff at speed. All I can say is I a VERY GLAD many of you really pushed me to go with the ADD hubs and spindles over the manual locking hubs. The size difference was definitely noticeable and I'm sure the strength is too.

Did you ever have a set of manual hubs or just considering the option at some point - looking for some on my new 3rd gen t4r.

I don't have the manual hubs anymore, but I have the CV axles still and you're more than welcome to have 'em. They're just taking up much needed bench space now. They're freshly re-greased.

After all this driving I can confirm my transmission and transfer cases still have oil. I thought it was necessary to let the world know it HAS OIL after removing the transmission five times and about five gallons of it ending up somewhere other than inside the transmission...

Ouch! Just got the heads up my supercharger casting won't be getting to lc engineering until beginning of July, then another 2 to 3 weeks for assembly and shipping out.

That'll make for a grand total of around a 15 week wait since ordered. Hope it all works out worth the cost and wait to improve the on road highway drivability.
