    Got a cracked radiator. Want to replace with aluminum. Any suggestions. Thanks!!

    My Champion radiator started leaking at the 30,000 mile marker,

    I ended having a hand made custom one made
    Here is the difference,Champion on top,

    Poor quality, no frame support compared to the custom below

    I want an aluminum one but they have little inlet or outlets on the bottom next to the big hose and drain. Mine on the truck now doesn’t have those.

    Automatics use a portion of the radiator for the transmission fluid to flow through for added cooling.

    If you have a manual, you don't need to use that portion of the radiator. Just leave the ports plugged.

    Those are for the transmission lines,

    Personally, I feel a quality OEM replacement provides adequate cooling.

    As long as your fluids are good (coolant), your thermostat is in good working order, as well as your fan clutch and fan blades, you are good to go.
