The ruyoet is ready to go, I have the 3rd camera, but just haven't had a weekend where I could pull off my grill to be able to mess with it, been too busy. I'll try and get it over the next few days.

So that is my truck above on the link. Yes get this camera and the OEM grill. The quality is much better than the rear camera. I can send you some pictures tomorrow if you would like.

You then need the ABC wiring harness and this camera will plug right into that without any issues.

To hold the camera in the OEM hole in the grill you just need to make a small adapter. Once you get the camera in place it will be pretty apparent as to what needs to be done. You basically just need a little extra material for the spines on the back of the camera to hold on to.

I just took my temporary shim to a machine shop and they made me a permanent one based on my design. If you want I could see if I can get you one. It wasn’t difficult or expensive.

let me know if you need any other help!

I am working on this today, I don't like how it can turn in the grille. I will get a pic of the image of the camera up soon, but I want to get it where my bracket is keyed and won't allow the camera to rotate.

Here’s the two pics, first is ruyoet and second is the new raayoo. Will want you the raayoo still needs wires cut to flip the image correctly and remove the lines, but this seems to be another ruyoet vs nakita with one exception. Raayoo is a wider field of view and the video isn’t as clean, but the finished product looks better than the ruyoet where as before the ruyoet looked better than the nakita. Getting the tolerances right and getting a way to key the raayoo so it cannot the rotate in the housing is the new challenge. It’s kinda frustrating because the little sticker that tells you where the top is at has already peeled off the damn camera. Will include a pic.

Has anyone experienced excessive battery drain after this install? Since installing the front camera kit from Anytimecamera.com, I've had to get a jump start three times, typically after spending a few minutes in the truck on battery alone in accessory mode.

I checked the battery and alt themselves and voltage is perfectly fine.

I disconnected the front camera black wire from the ground just to break the circuit until I can tear into the system but the front camera still works...? Could that have been the unnecessary ground wire that was drawing current from my battery while in accessory mode?

I'm trying to install my kit with front camera and I'm a little confused about how to connect all the wires in the harness, switch harness, relay and from the camera. It seems you just match the colors but then in one place it says that then I have three red wires one of them from the camera. In one place it says that goes to green, and in another green to green.

I had my dash torn a part yesterday and had to give up because I couldn't figure it out or contact them for help.

    *bump*

I'm looking to do this as well when my heritage grill comes in. But not if it kills my battery!

No the standard camera. I think I have it figured out but I haven't gotten back to try again so far. One of the things that I was having trouble with was getting the wires some of them very thin was staying in the butt splice I'd crimp. But I had a cheap crimper. Now I have some extra wire to add to the ground and a camera wires. I have those solder seal connectors to use and they should work better.
I did talk to Brian who runs the anytime back up and he helped with some advice. I don't know why this defeated me the first time. Hopefully it will be a success soon. IMG_20210529_091844.jpg

yeah it is a little intimidating with all those wires and trying to figure out what goes where. it helped me to lay everything out on my workbench with the wiring schematic to help figure it all out.

also, all your colored wires go together, except for that one red wire from the camera that has the black ground and the red switch wire. that red switch wire will connect to the green wires from the switch and the switching relay.

Thanks. I'm going to lay it all out on a work table and put everything together with those heat shrink splices except the black and red camera Wires. I already have the camera mounted on the grille and wires fished into dash. I will just have to carefully do those in the truck. I just need a deflector for my heat gun first so as soon as I can get to harbor freight tools to pick one up. I would have had it done this week but they were out of stock on the heat gun accessories pack. I was told they were going to have some on Thursday.

Following this thread. I have my ABC all wired up, just haven't installed because of the heritage grill.
