My dad’s got a 2010 CRV with only about 30k miles.

Aside from the oil which I change every year and the rear diff fluid which I changed once several years ago, all other fluids, belt and spark plugs are original.

It runs fine but I am getting worried about the years and things I should address before anything goes bad.

For example I don’t think there is a year recommendation for the drive belt or spark plugs, only miles. Should I address this, along with anything else.

    Wanted to get some thoughts.

Oh yea I’ve done the air and cabin filters as well :)

Hoses can be something to look at that can be effected by time.
I’d change the rad fluid, power steering and brake fluid as well.

Belt I would look at, plugs should be fine. Tends to be rubber items that deteriorate with time as opposed to miles.

You can visually inspect the belt for cracks. The plugs should be fine, especially if it’s still running good. If you do want to change them, Honda 4 bangers are a breeze.

I’d change the serpentine belt, coolant, and brake fluid.
I do not think the power steering has seen much abuse with only 30k.
But if you feel like it, you could change it.
