What is TSB and what does it do for my 2019 Taco?

 

Its a "technical service bulletin "
And it fixes a issue with the truck.
Tsb's and recalls are not the same.

 

A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin. Essentially they are fixes that Toyota has put out for issues that people may have with their truck. Most likely you have heard of some of the transmission TSBs that are out for third gen Tacomas that change the shifting behavior.

Where can I find out if there is a TSB for my model, and do you have to pay for a dealer to perform TSB maintenance?

 

In my case is a free clutch pedal assembly replacement (because of squeaking).
Very useful thing, IMO. Just follow the timelines. And yes, TSB and recalls are different things.
