Well here’s a thing. One of the windows on my camper shell windoor shattered.
I just drove from Richmond, VA to Phoenix, AZ and back with the awning on the whole time. Did some mild off-roading to get to some campsites, but nothing major.
Pretty sure this happened somewhere between Tennessee and home on the way back. Not sure if something from the highway got kicked up and broke it, or if it was one of the gnarly potholes on the highway.
    What do you guys think?

Not sure if the weight of the awning above the windoor was a factor?

I’ve had to replace one of my panes in the windoor as well - was not the one with the latches, however. State-wide windows sells the entire unit, but their customer service is difficult to work with. They quoted me ~$225 plus shipping (which has to go to business address). Leer was next to useless but I was finally able to get an answer from them - they will quote you $450+ to install the new unit.

If it doesn’t feel tight to close I doubt the weight was the issue, I have a RTT on my Prinsu - if your rack mounts via the leer tracks this distributes the weight pretty well. Dynamic load is 200-250 for the normal toppers and you’re not close to that. Bed flex however could be an issue, consider getting bed stiffeners (I have total chaos ones).

I would check with a local window person and see if they can repair it for you, that’s what I ultimately did and was much easier and less expensive. Low margin for them though so depending on who you talk to they may not be that inclined to help.

Yeah I got a quote of $450ish from the place I bought my shell. They said they can’t just replace the glass, they have to replace the entire windoor. :/ Didn’t notice it being harder to open than usual before. I also do have some ATH bed stiffeners.
Didn’t even think about a window person, thanks!

    Thats a bummer!
I've had to replace the glass on a window before but never one with multi panes.
Got quoted the same for a window. wound up being more than the shell cost. They won't do just the glass. you have to drill the rivets out and disassemble the entire thing. Its quite the process.
Is there somewhere that appears to have an impact point? i can't imagine it being the awning. your setup seems pretty on point for the mount and points.

Hi, is this how you still have it mounted?
Also, how are the mounts working out with this rack?
I have the same rack and just ordered on of these.
    Thx

What’s the rear shade distance? From the rear of the truck to where the coverage ends?
Let’s say you had a cool kitchen that extends out the rear, how much is covered? :)

Awesome. Got an exact measurement from the end of the bed (not tailgate)?

Not really, depends on how you attach. Plus the rain doesn't always fall down straight down heh - so unless you're getting the walled version...

No it doesn’t. However my extension is 91” and just trying to see what kind of distance the covering is

Not specifically to the measurement that I wanted, that’s why I was hoping someone could actually measure their truck and awning 0124AF77-85C9-4A34-AEAF-989B439D0BBE.jpg

    Think that's 240-78.7-82.6=78.7
    Mines still in the box.

I can get you the dimensions for my LT but not the regular one just yet. Waiting for a friend to order their new one. Because "bigger is better".
