Since you are using the Switch Pros setup you will NOT need the Baja Designs wiring harness. We include the opposite side connector, pins, and seals which allow you to wire the light yourself. You can run the wiring directly from the light to the switch pros. We recommend 12 gauge wiring for the LP9.

Using the Baja Designs harness and Switch Pros together isn't necessary and will complicate the install.

Man I love this light every time I click it on. I did have to upgrade my battery and stator to keep up with it but dang it throws some light.

Street lights.. don’t need no stinking street lights!

What output is the upgraded stator? Not too surprised you had to upgrade considering the power draw of the LP9

@t4arghhh (IG) aerial shot of dual amber LP9 Pros and amber Squadron Sports.
Perfect combination of near-field, mid-field and distance.

what is the difference between the LP9 Pro Amber and LP9 Racer Amber? If any...I ask because I ordered what was sold as LP9 Racer and I got LP9 Pro spot.

Uh oh, that is not correct. There may have been a shipping error. I'm happy to look into it if you can send me your order number/information in a PM.

The Racer Edition is essentially a more tightly concentrated spot pattern. Using a different combination of LEDs, the light produces a narrower beam that penetrates farther downrange.

:facepalm:never mind... turns out it was my inattention to the detail of Amazon slight of hand, still my mistake for not paying attention, oh well no harm, I'm sure the LP9 Pros are an awesome light with long throw, especially coupled with LP4Pro & S2Pro combo, I'll have plenty of light at all distance
s, especially if I change the lenses on the L4's, guess if I was doing 120 across the desert I'd have to send em back for the Racers.

Hi @Baja Designs . Do you know if the LP9 or LP6 lights would interfere with the 3rd gen TSS sensors up front if mounted on a steel bumper at either side of the sensor?

I'm sorry, we haven't had one of those in the shop to do a full inspection and provide an affirmative answer on this.

I can't confirm on a Tacoma for sure, but I know for a fact that folks with Tundras do it all of the time mounted atop a C4 bumper and the sensors work just fine.

It would be a very similar light pattern just less intense with the low beam.
    Best,

    What haven’t I changed?
I have a pair of the LP9 Racer editions and the low beams are still pretty damn bright and illuminate just as far. A few years ago I was somewhere outside of Moab in the middle of the night and didn't want to run into any wildlife so I turned on the lights and was able to see rock formations a few miles out in the distance. Only difference between the low and hi-beam was the intensity as mentioned above.

Keep in mind that the side shooters turn on with either of the beam patterns so you still get really good coverage directly in front of your vehicle.
