    I actually had to scare one off a trail that was watching me from under a bush so I could get back to my truck one night in that same mountain, it ran off through the brush without making a sound. A lot of us who ever go into their territory probably never even knew we've walked past one before. Lot's of wildlife and beautiful places up there, the San Jacinto's are one of my favorites!

    Years ago a local news caster went to a local park to cover a lion attack on a child. The lion hadn’t learned not to mess with the mommy.

    As the reporter did the story no one noticed what was seen in the editing room. Yea that long ago. Behind the reporter, in the reeds was a lion watching her every move.

    You only see them if they don’t care if you see them.

    I’ve hunted them and unless you have dogs you can forget about finding them.
