So I have just started researching and I’m sure all of this has been asked and answered before, but I do have some specific things that I am trying to target if you guys have a minute for an opinion.

I have a 2008 access cab 4x4 manual transmission and would like to improve the look and suspension. I like +4" fiberglass front and rear and don't really want to go anymore than that on the body and would like to keep the tire stick out to flush or maybe 1” or less out.

I am thinking a +2" kit with 17x8.5" wheels (0 offset, 4.75" BS)with a 315/70-17 tire. then running a 1.5" spacer in the rear on the stock axle?

    Thoughts?

Thanks! Some I like, some are sticking out too much for me and my State inspectors. It is hard to extract specifics from just pictures. Anyone have a recommended path to get close to what I am looking for as a starting point?

I’d consider the McNeil +2 glass

I have 4" ADV fiberglass, a 3.5" lt kit, spindles that are another 3/4" (2wd), and 285" tires on wheels with 0 offset / 4.75" backspace.

Depending on your tire size and wheel combo, a 3.5" kit fills 4" glass perfectly.

Thanks! Do you have any pics right down the side to show how well the tires are covered? What to you mean by "spindles that are another 3/4" (2wd)"? And lastly, what do you have in the rear to widen the rear track? Wheel spacers?

Aftermarket 2wd spindles can push the wheel mounting surface out wider since there’s no cv to require the stock width.

Only wheel spacers or a new axle or full float conversion which I don’t think 2nd / 3rd gens have can have widen the rear.

    This is what I meant:
And yes I have a few more photos.

In the rear i have nothing at the moment. But will put probably 2” wheel spacers on when I get actual 35”s this year.
Don’t really have any pics of the rear width.
