    Hey fellas,

As the title implies, I have a 3rd gen with the BP-51 suspension, UCAs, and SCS 17" Stealth6 wheels. I currently have KO2s in 265, but the truck looks to me like it skipped leg day. I'd like to go bigger, but how much bigger can I go without having to trim stuff? For the record, the only offroad this truck sees is forest roads, since it's my dirt bike hauler. Can I put a 285/70R17 KO2s on without major rubbing?

    Thanks!
    - Adam

Unfortunately neither the KO2s nor the Grabber ATX come in the 80 ratio from what I can see :(

I'm going to go with the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W after all, but I'm gonna pull the trigger on 285s and just trim as needed. Screw it.

285s with a lift and aftermarket UCAs on forest service roads you will have minimal rub with no mud flaps, and a good wheel alignment.
I was fine for a couple weeks before I got my cmc done with minimal trimming and a good wheel alignment. I have the 285 70 17 KO2s C load 51 lbs with SCS Ray 10 wheels, great performance and good mpg.

Haha, no doubt. I got the cab mount modification estimated today, should be cheap and will be done right. The shop actually had 33" Nitto Grapplers in stock, but those suckers are E-rated and I don't think I need that weight penalty given the terrain I drive on. I'm worried that the C-rated Falken Wildpeaks in 285 won't be a true 33" as I hear they run small. So, I messaged the Discount Tire rep on here to see what they can advise.

Kinda disappointing, but the shop also measured my current 265 KO2s, they are barely bigger than 30". No wonder they look small to me.

Thanks brother, I did not see those! But, what is strange is that the 285 in C rating is listed as weighing 63.7 lbs, while in E rating it weighs less at 58.9 lbs... I don't understand how that can be if we're going from 6 to 10 plys AND gaining a bit of diameter. Hm... and the 285/75/R17 is not that much heavier but a whopping 33.9"... you're right, this is going to get out of hand quickly ;)
