Does it look something like this? If so you got three options.
    1) reduce tire size
    2) cut fender and body parts to fit wheel
    3) put wheels in clothes dryer on high heat for 50 minutes to shrink them down

Option 3 is just a joke. More details on truck/wheels/rims/tires and pics would assist in helping you, Sean.

What size wheels did you get? That will help us determine your options.

Your wheels most likely aren’t the problem. Your tires are. Need more info and pics.

235 75 15 is the largest 15 you can fit on a 5 lug w/o going down the heavy mod path.

The tire calculator will allow you to figure out what 17" tire would be a similar dia.

But even that wont work if the wheel specs are wrong.

Pro tip. Next time research before you buy.

Put the 215/70/15's back on your truck. It isn't safe to drive if you can't steer it. You're either going to have to sell the new tires and start over or extensively modify the truck

    Here's your problem:

    Tire Size Comparison

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
    215/70-15 5.9in 13.4in 26.9in 84.4in 751 0.0%
    265/70-17 7.3in 15.8in 31.6in 99.3in 638 17.7%

New tires are 17.7% larger than stock. Time to start cutting!
