    Has anyone had issues with using the terminal strip instead of butt connectors? I know Switch-Pro recommends to not use one. Asked in the PowerTrays thread also...

    Im using the powertray and the terminal bars. No issues at all makes wiring super easy. I just bought a set of ditch lights and contemplating on wiring each light to a separate switch. Has anyone else wired them this way?

    Mines been on for almost 2 years and it’s mounted horizontally. Vertical bracket wasn’t out yet. Zero issues. However, it does happen to some vehicles.

    I thought about it but ended up just wiring them to one. Figured I would wire them separate and then only end up using them as a pair so might as well save a switch.

    Just make sure you use high quality ring terminals and adhesive lined heat shrink. Take your time doing the wiring, make sure the heat shrink completely seals around the copper wire.

    I went ahead and wired up most of my lights before reading up. So now I have relays I don’t need. The redundancy shouldn’t cause any issues, right? just a waste of time and material!

    Mobtown sliders, Diamondback bed cover, Prinsu rack, Pro grill, couple light bars up front, lots of little things
    I installed the exact same setup about 3 years ago, it started to act up and would not power on now and then, now it’s toast. Switch-Pros said I hooked it up wrong by not routing the Ground direct to the Neg battery post. Guess I will be getting a 9100 now! My first one was the older 8100.

    When I first hooked up my 9100 I just grounded it to the side where of the engine bay where everything else is and it wasn’t happy about it. Grounded it to the battery and haven’t had an issue since.

    I compromised on the grounding bolt the battery uses. So the only resistance to the negative terminal is in the OEM 4 gauge cable which is less than a foot. It is a little tempting to make it 1/0 gauge in the future though. I need to redo my entire negative terminal with the SDHQ one, I've been utterly lazy about that. Of course I'm using exactly 0 circuits right now so not too surprising it's not complaining.

    Now you guys have me worried. It’s need grounded to the side since the install. Knock on wood no issues, but now may have to looking into ground it to the battery.

    I read the manual and looked through the settings and didn’t see it but figured I’d ask in case I missed it.
    Is there any on delay function? As in I want a switch to come on X seconds after ignition trigger.

    No on delay. The only switching delay function is for turning off a switch that is triggered on by the ignition wire (power-up switch status).

    You could build a time delay relay circuit on your output if you wanted to perform this function.

    The provided instructions are quite good and the powertray makes it pretty easy, the most complicated part will be fishing the wire through the firewall for the switch panel.
