    18EE7680-FBAA-4E82-B172-2028770B05E7.jpg Hello,
Got a quick question regarding the hangers and HD shackle from BAMF.
Is the grease zerk on the shackle supposed to be up or down? While cycling the suspension the shackle makes contact with the hanger.
    Thanks

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
The gusset is towards the back. And it looks like the weld is a little high in the corner. The tip of that corner can be sanded down.

    ANYONE IN DFW??
.....feel like helping me do my BAMF rear shock relocate? I'm swapping leaf packs and adding timbrens starting tomorrow night. Might try and bang out the rear shock relo too but would rather do it with someone that has actually done one. I live in Grapevine and I'll have cold beers and treats lol

For shocks I have Bilstein 7100 14" short bodies in the garage ready to go too.

Let me know if anyone is down to assist. Figured I might as well put it out there worst thing anyone can say is no

I just did the Archive 2.0 kit yesterday. A sawzall will make quick work of the lower mounts. Then take some time and grind away. The upper I just used a cut off wheel and flap disc. Pretty strait forward. This is 14" 20210708_124032.jpg shocks too

I’ll be doing the shock relocation this weekend but I have a few questions and I was hoping you guys can help me out.
I’ll be taking apart the leaf springs and just leave the two main ones. I will then use a jack to lift up the axle till the bumpstops just hit the frame. Which brings my to my first question the bumpstops are supposed to compress 1.75” so do I need to have 2.75” of shaft exposed?
Also what are you guys checking when cycling the suspension?

I think I’m just over complicating the install but I like to be prepared and have a plan.

I just measured the distance my leafs had till full bump and added a inch. Full stuff I have about 1/4 inch of shock shaft left. It worked out perfect

Doesn't matter as long as it's not changed when you measure for shock length

    Fyi
This is me now and I think I should be able to get a little over another inch of up travel.
I have lots of room for my tire but that's about where my bump stops max compress stopping my up travel.
So for me I'm going to move the lower shock mount down about 1.5".
