Dropping in-Mid-Travel Madness!

Had a new one installed. Now to get a tune

 

Getting allignment tomorrow. Then I will be installing some stoptec rotors and TRD pads. Then the stage 2 Deavers that I should have gotten the 1st time.

 

Got the truck ba k from Firestone and they said they were unable to get it aligned. I must have really jacked it up or the tech is not up to par. Here are the #s

Hopefully I did not bend something in steering rack? Going to take it to a more 4x4 friendly shop to have them take a look. At getting it aligned. Currently my steering wheel sits at around 11 o'clock and it is had to steer.

 

they said one of the adjustment bolts is upside down.

 

they look right to me? Anybody see different? Let me know. I will be breaking it down one more time to check for unseen issues.

 

meanwhile I started looking at the Tundra rack solution

 

on a positive note the new transmission feels great!

You consider the JD fab steering rack?

 

I have not. With the Marlin Crawler braces I think that would conflict.? Have to do more research. Really just ready to drive again with a simple alignment done by a qualified shop.

Replaced power steering pump and now the truck can do u-turns with ease. Before it felt like I was driving a 70's Buick wagon without power steering.

 

And got a proper allignment.

 

Maybe even time to put the skids back on

 

New springs on the way Tuesday thought I would get a Jumpstart on the install. Oh BTW old ones are for----- sold ----.

 

And those springs are gone... cleaned them and sent them on their way with @SUMOTNK
